The annual Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Show will be held at Salmon Brook Historical Society on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free parking and admission. Take in the sights and sounds of our farming history and other unique pieces of equipment. Historically over 20 exhibitors show off their great tractors and engines. Hot dogs, drinks, and Mrs. Murphy donuts available at the food booth. If interested in showing your tractor or hit-and-miss engine, contact Dave Laun at 860-653-3965.

The Fall Flea Market will be Saturday, Oct. 18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at SBHS. Parking and admission are free. A wide variety of items from antiques to today will be offered. The food stand will offer coffee and Mrs. Murphy’s donuts for the early birds and hot dogs, soda and chips for lunch. The society is also accepting donated items for their tent; clean out your attic or basement and drop off items at the Society, 208 Salmon Brook Street, Tuesdays or Thursdays, 9 a.m. – noon. No plastic toys or children’s clothing please.

Vendor spaces are available. Cost is $30 per 20x20ft. space if received by Oct. 11, $40 if received Oct. 12 or later.
