Extra Recycling

If you find that your 95-gallon recycling barrel is not enough to handle all of your recycling, there are two options. Extra recycling can be brought to the transfer station on Saturdays or you can request a second recycling barrel to be used curbside. Both options are free. Call Public Works at 860-653-8960 if you would like a second barrel.

Household Hazardous Waste

Are you looking to dispose of items that are considered hazardous waste? If so, bring them to a town sponsored hazardous waste collection. The town combines with other local towns to conduct two collections per year. Check with DPW 860-653-8960 for upcoming dates. If you cannot make it to the town collection, contact the NEDT Collection Center, Westfield, Mass. They will accept items for a fee. They can be reached at 866-769-1621 or
