The Granby Artists Association presents its annual All Members Show at East Granby Public Library from June 5 to June 26. Since 2002, the association has worked to create a vibrant and supportive community for the arts in Granby. This show features work by your favorite artists as well new people, including Granby high school students, which brings an exciting diversity to the 2D and 3D presentations.
On April 23, Susan Regan of the Sylvia Davis Art Foundation presented an oil painting to Dick Zanini, director of history at the Wethersfield Country Club. The painting was completed by Sylvia Davis Patricelli in 1961 and reflects the practice tee at the 1961 ICO championship at the club.
Annukka Ritalahti and Mark Gottlieb were pleased to be invited to the Wadsworth Atheneum’s 42nd Fine Art and Flowers exhibit April 25–27. It was the pair’s second invitation to be part of the display of arts and crafts, paintings and sculptures throughout the museum. Live entertainment, including music, was part of the festivities.

Granby Memorial High School’s Dramatic Arts program dazzled audiences with its recent production of Legally Blonde: The Musical, leaving the community buzzing with praise for the talented students and creative team behind the show.
When did it happen? I surely don’t know
But honestly it distresses me so.
I look in the mirror and what do I see?
Certainly no one that looks like me!
Graduating high school seniors who are permanent residents of Granby, are invited to apply for the 2025 Granby Artists Association Annual Scholarship. The scholarship is a cash award of $1,000 given to a student with higher artistic skill to be utilized toward upcoming college expenses.
