The Sylvia Davis Patricelli Fine Arts Scholarship Non-Profit Foundation has made a donation to the Oak Hill School Special Education Art Department, which will be used to purchase a variety of materials to provide inspiration and creative stimulus to students who find imagination a constructive part of their therapy program.
The Superintendent of Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Taylor P. Wrye as the new principal of Granby Memorial Middle School, effective July 1, 2020.

As Granby Memorial Middle School approaches the close of its second year of the Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM), we have much to celebrate.
On March 10, Granby Memorial High School was business as usual. Classes began at 7:35 a.m. with everyone anticipating that 11 hours later the boys’ basketball team would play a first-round home game in the CIAC Division IV tournament.
Families, teachers and members of the Abigail Phelps chapter of DAR gathered on March 8 to recognize winners of the American History essay contest. The essay topic was in honor of the 400th anniversary of the voyage of the Mayflower and the founding of the Plymouth Colony.
Students in grade 5–8 were to imagine being one of the passengers on the Mayflower.
Children made Cat in the Hat masks and sang Happy Birthday Feb. 27, at Cossitt Library to celebrate the children’s author’s birthday. The activity was part of the weekly Bedtime Stories program that is held there Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
