Granby Lions Club Scholarship applications for Granby resident high school seniors attending Granby Memorial High School or any other accredited high school, must be completed and returned to Julie Caruso, guidance department, GMHS, by May 1. Scholarships will be awarded to high school students planning to further their education by attending a college, university, technical or trade school.
Granby Parents for a Safe Graduation has announced the winners of its 2020 art competition. The first place entry will be used in the invitation design and for free tee shirts for all students attending Granby Memorial High School’s free graduation party.
Community Scholarship Association of Granby (CSAG) offers annual scholarships to graduating Granby Memorial High School seniors. Applicants must be Granby residents who are soon-to-be high school graduates accepted at an institution of higher learning approved by the selection committee.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Simsbury-Granby Rotary club High School Scholarship program. This year the club will award $18,000 in academic scholarships, including a single Ed Dodge Scholarship in the amount of $6,500 to one senior from either Simsbury or Granby high school.
Granby Public Library and Granby Ambulance Association teamed up in February to offer the nationally recognized program, “Stop the Bleed” at Granby Public Library.
