Men’s Breakfast e-Group

At the next Granby Men’s Breakfast e-Group on Friday, March 12, the guest speaker will be Dale Picard, co-founder of Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities (ECAD). This award-winning non-profit organization began in Granby over 25 years ago, and is now headquartered in Winchester, with facilities in Connecticut and New York.

MS Support Group

The Granby Multiple Sclerosis Support Group will resume when the Granby Senior Center reopens. Meetings are at 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

Connecticut Trolley Museum presents Easter Eggspress

Motorwoman Cotton-Tail will be roaming the Connecticut Trolley Museum grounds and posing for pictures distantly on March 27 and 28, and April 2 and 3, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Each child will receive an Easter egg with a surprise inside when they complete a Scavenger Hunt, make a Bunny Ear Craft or visit the Fire Truck Museum.

Since choral singers world-wide are prevented by the pandemic from gathering in person, the Farmington Valley Chorale will again host a virtual season with a multi-faceted program that will provide new opportunities for singers to engage with music making and learning.

Women’s Breakfast

Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. Author Janet Barrett will discuss her book Comanche and His Captain—the Warhorse and the Soldier of Fortune. Barrett remembers her father first telling her about Comanche when she was about eight years old.
