The Farmington Valley Visiting Nurse Association has announced that Nancy A. Scheetz, agency CEO, has been chosen as the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year 2022. The designation is particularly significant as it is the first time a woman business leader has been recognized.

Cheryl Paddock, BSN, RN, is the VNA’s 2022 recipient of the highest international award in nursing, the Nightingale Award.
Nate Welsh, of East Granby, was selected to the Connecticut All-State Chorus for 2022.
Erik Bergersen, aka Berf, died on January 20 and will be buried in East Hartland cemetery on June 4, at 11 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
