It might be cold now, but there’s a lot going on at Granby Parks & Recreation to prepare for the summer season, including opened job applications for various summer staff positions—summer camp counselors, lifeguards, concession attendants and pond gate attendants.
Granby Town Hall is busy as we swing into 2026. Boards and commissions’ meeting agendas and minutes of meetings are available on the Town of Granby website. Many meetings may be attended remotely via Zoom.
As we enter the winter holiday season, let us be thankful for the many town employees, staff and volunteers who all work to make this season joyful and bright. Read on for news and upcoming events from various departments at Granby Town Hall.
Fall is in full swing here in Granby, and it’s time to adjust for the cold weather and plan for leaf cleanup. The chill in the early morning air slides away as the sun comes out, and there’s lots to see and do around town. Granby Parks and Recreation is busy with myriad sports activities including youth fly fishing or mountain biking. Adults can also enjoy a mountain biking class, yoga or drop-in basketball.
What a fun summer we had but now it’s time to get prepared for fall, especially the many autumnal sports, events and celebrations.
