Habitat Restoration Project: Benefiting local wildlife and supporting our local food system

This year, McLean Game Refuge is embarking on a habitat restoration project. Part of this project will involve clearing trees to encourage wildlife diversity in its meadows, an important part of the New England ecosystem. Wildlife diversity fosters ecosystem resilience by supporting pollinators, birds and small mammals, all while bolstering the soil health.

About This Site

Formed in 1970, Citizens for a Better Granby— CBG for short—is a community-based, not-for-profit organization whose goal is to inform and educate Granby residents on issues affecting the town of Granby, Connecticut. Its monthly newspaper, the Granby Drummer, provides an independent platform to encourage participation in the civic, social, economic and cultural life of Granby.
