The Salmon Brook Historical Society Christmas Open House, originally scheduled for Dec. 1, has been cancelled due to structural reinforcement needed in the Rowe House.

The youth at Pilgrim Covenant Church will host a Swedish Pancake Breakfast and Scandinavian Bake Sale on Saturday, Nov. 17, 8 to 10 a.m., at Pilgrim Covenant Church, 605 Salmon Brook St., just south of the Massachusetts state line.
Mary’s Kitty Korner, Granby’s no-kill cat shelter, is looking for volunteers to help care for its kitties until they find their “fur-ever” homes.
