Spotlight on Granby Small Businesses

November is not only the season of fall foliage, football and elections, but also a time to celebrate small businesses. In honor of National Entrepreneurship Month and Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, our November issue features a new, recurring section titled “Spotlight on Granby Small Businesses” that you’ll find early in each issue. This month, the articles include Shirley Murtha’s profiles of Vintage Press and Mr. Ken’s Homemade shop as well as Sue Glucksman’s profile of Beman Hardware. Additionally, the section includes Glucksman’s salute to new Granby businesses and her recognition of Granby businesses that have stood the test of time for over 40 years. Our Spotlight series invites readers behind the scenes of the shops, stores, restaurants and other services available in our community to tell the stories about the people who run them.
