Thrills and Chills at Historic Mansion
Join bestselling author D.M. Pulley and Granby author Dana McSwain for an evening of literary thrills at the Revival Wheeler Mansion in Orange, Mass. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. “Meet Me at the Mansion: D.M. Pulley in Conversation with Dana McSwain” is sponsored by The Alchemist Society bookshop in Feeding Hills and celebrates the much-anticipated release of Pulley’s fifth novel, Stone Mad.
Pulley has penned five dark thrillers, including The Dead Key and Nobody’s Home. Her mysteries shine a light into the darker side of the abandoned buildings and buried past of the Midwest. Stone Mad, a Gothic thriller set in an infamous Gilded Age mansion, will be released Oct. 13. Joining Pulley for this special event is Granby author and essayist Dana McSwain, four-time award winning bestseller of the supernatural Gothic thriller, Roseneath, and 2025 Pushcart Prize nominee for her short story, The Perfect Stranger. A social hour and author signing will follow.

The 32nd Annual Holly Boutique Craft Fair will be held Oct. 15–17 at the North Canton Community United Methodist Church Hall, Route 179 and 3 Case Street in North Canton.
Shop from a wonderful selection of quality crafts made by 25 local juried artisans on Oct. 15 and 16, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. and Oct. 17, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Free admission, cash or check only—no cards.

Quilt Show and Craft Fair
Avon Congregational Church will hold a quilt show and craft fair in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary on church grounds at 6 West Main Street. Antique, traditional and modern quilts will be displayed, along with a quilt raffle, crafts vendors and a café.

Suffield Players plan exciting season
The Suffield Players is just a few weeks away from opening its 2026–27 season of Mystery, Mirth, and Miracles. Opening night is Oct. 9 to help you get in the Halloween spirit. Tag and Bake Sale
The North Canton Community United Methodist Church will hold a tag and bake sale on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to noon. Early birds can catch items at 8 a.m. for $10 entry. The church is at 3 Case St., North Canton.
