The Drummer is excited to announce three new options to businesses and nonprofits to support our mission, which is to continue to deliver our award-winning local newspaper to every household in Granby free of charge. Each issue of the Drummer reaches every residence, business and post office box in Granby as well as bulk distribution at town offices and local businesses. The total circulation is 5,700 copies per issue.
And now, there are three new ways that businesses and nonprofits can support our efforts.
First, we are offering a community sponsorship option for businesses that want to support the Drummer but do not need additional advertising. This option was designed for Granby-area businesses that operate on a business-to-business model or those that want to show their support for the Drummer but do not advertise.
The community sponsorship option allows businesses to make an annual tax-deductible contribution to the Drummer and to be listed as a sponsor within the paper and/or on our website. Secondly, we now offer prepaid advertising to businesses with prices based on our print advertising rate card for 2027. Advertising is a tax-deductible business expense, and our new prepaid advertising option can afford you and your business more flexibility in your annual tax planning.
Finally, we are offering an annual payment option to our nonprofit advertisers. Similar to our prepaid option for businesses, the annual payment option allows nonprofits to pay for a year’s worth of advertising upfront, affording the treasurer of your nonprofit to cut and track just one check for Drummer advertising each year.
We could not deliver the Drummer to every home in Granby without the support of our advertisers. Thank you to all the local businesses and nonprofits that continue to support our mission.
