Nearly 50 Granby Land Trust (GLT) members came out for a hike through the GLT’s Dismal Brook Wildlife Preserve, guided by GLT Vice President Dave Emery, and followed by “Coffee and Cocoa at the Cabin.” The day was unseasonably cool, but the crisp air only heightened the appeal of the outing, as warm drinks, provided by Granby Starbucks, and a crackling fire awaited. Along the trail, Emery shared insights into the preserve’s natural features. At the cabin, GLT Board Member Put Brown provided the group with a brief history of the cabin and the Glazier Family, who summered there in the mid-1900s.
