In neighborhoods, sticks once lifeless and devoid of leaves and buried in deep snow,
now overflow with the rich yellow of the forsythia.
Bulbs buried in the ground now emerge as beautiful flowers in the yard.
Baseball season begins again, and the spring world starts to open up to us.
The winds blow more gently, and songbirds return with their sweet music.
And, as the sun warms us, we wish April’s days could last forever…
