For more than six decades, the Community Scholarship Association of Granby (CSAG) has helped open doors to higher education for local students. Since its founding in 1958, the organization has awarded over $650,000 in scholarships to nearly 400 Granby Memorial High School seniors, making a lasting impact on their futures and the Granby community.
CSAG’s mission is made possible through generous community contributions and enduring support from the Holcomb Family Endowment, among other donors. These funds help ensure that deserving students can pursue their educational goals with less financial burden.
Each year, scholarships are awarded to GMHS seniors who have been accepted to an accredited college or university. Recipients are selected based on financial need, academic excellence, community service and demonstrated leadership.
Applications are available online through Naviance, at the College and Career Center or through a guidance counselor. Completed applications should be submitted to Mrs. Caruso in the GMHS counseling office by May 1.
CSAG welcomes donations from community members, alumni and former recipients who wish to give back and support future generations of Granby students. Tax-deductible contributions may be made by check payable to CSAG and mailed to: CSAG, c/o Gary Ebersole, 30 Firetown Road, West Granby, CT 06090
Together, we can continue Granby’s proud tradition of investing in our students’ success.
