The New England Air Museum will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of art, culture and community on Saturday, March 7, as the Granby Ambulance Association (GAA) hosts its annual fundraiser, A Perfect Pairing.
The popular event brings together fine wines, craft beers, premium whiskey and bourbon and thoughtfully prepared appetizers alongside works from talented local artists—all in support of a vital community mission. Drawing residents from Granby, East Granby, East Hartland and surrounding towns, A Perfect Pairing offers attendees the opportunity to enjoy a night out with family and friends while sampling a wide variety of beverages and celebrating the creative talent of the Farmington Valley. While tastings are a highlight, GAA emphasizes that local artists remain the heart of the event.
First launched in 2019, A Perfect Pairing has grown steadily in popularity, reflecting strong and increasing community support. This year, GAA aims to build on that momentum to help meet the rising financial demands of emergency medical services, including the purchase of lifesaving equipment and ambulances.
Proceeds from the event will directly support the lifesaving medical equipment and ambulances, ensuring GAA can continue providing timely, high-quality emergency care throughout the region. For more than 60 years, the Granby Ambulance Association has proudly served its communities, along with mutual aid partners including Simsbury, Suffield, Barkhamsted, New Hartford and Windsor Locks. Beyond emergency medical response, GAA is deeply committed to community education and engagement through CPR and Stop the Bleed training programs, as well as participation in local events.
