BOS honors Kelly Rome

On Dec. 15, First Selectman Mark Fiorentino presented retiring board of selectmen member Kelly Rome with a plaque honoring her many years of continuous service to the Town of Granby. Born and raised in Granby, Rome has served on the zoning board of appeals (2005-13), the board of finance (2013-21) and the board of selectmen (2021-25.) In addition, she served as secretary to the PTO, held positions with the Granby Rovers, Simsbury Youth Hockey and Junior Achievement. She is a member of the Labrador Retriever Club and raises puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
