75 years loving horses

Betty Hart, a Granby native, is pictured with a horse 75 years ago side-by-side with a photo taken this year by her granddaughter, Granby Police Officer Nichole Abalan. Abalan said Hart, age 91, recently sewed new patch-es onto the officers’ uniforms and is fondly known as “Gram” by all the town’s officers. Although she no longer rides, Hart still loves to go to the stables and visit the horses.
