Granby Homes for Senior Citizens, which operates Stony Hill Village, will hold its annual Friends of Stony Hill Village meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the community room at 259 Salmon Brook Street. Attendees who are or become members of the Friends can elect two new board members (Tricia Lapila and Neil Kraner) and re-elect one current member (Valerie Raggio). The meeting is open to all individuals interested in supporting quality affordable housing in Granby.

Stony Hill’s Community Serve Day will be Saturday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m. to noon. This community service event is open to everyone and provides a chance to contribute directly to the upkeep and enhancement of the 49-unit Stony Hill Village community. Participants are invited to gather in the community room by 9 a.m. to receive instructions on the tasks to be completed. We will happily sign paperwork for high school volunteers.

Please visit granbyhomesforseniors.org to register to volunteer and learn more about the Village.
