Hockey team wins conference championship

Wildcats Hockey, the high school hockey team for Granby, Suffield and Windsor Locks, won the 2020 Nutmeg Hockey Conference championship on March 3 in Cromwell. Granby members of the tournament team include: Sam Banever, Alex Becker, Eric Kinsley, Tyler Mackowski, Mark McWhirter, Evan Napierata, Will Peverly and Ryan Stone. The team’s head coach is Jake King, also a Granby resident.
