Granby Public Library’s Plant A Seed 2026 Summer Reading Program is blooming! There are many programs for all ages this summer to go along with the garden theme. Stop by the library or visit the website to register and be eligible for prizes.
The library will have a college intern working at the library this summer, funded by a grant. The student will gain valuable library experience working in a busy public library, and will leave with new skills, including working with the public, interpersonal relationship skills and teamwork.
Granby Parks and Recreation opened the Granby Waterfront on June 20. The waterfront is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. Grab a picnic lunch from concessions and relax on the beach. Season Passholders have access to backyard games, lounge chairs, paddle boards, kayaks and canoes, all included in the membership. Those who visit occasionally can expect to pay a small fee at the gate each time.
