As announced in October, Citizens for a Better Granby, publisher of the Drummer, received a grant from the Granby Community Fund with the intention of helping other Granby nonprofits raise their visibility within the community. The CBG Board uses the grant funds to finance advertising for nonprofit organizations that are based in Granby and operate with a small budget. Qualifying as a 501(c)(3) is not required.
Initially planned to fund advertising only through the July/August 2026 issue, the community fund has generously agreed to continue its grant period until the original donated amount is expended.
In order to stretch our grant dollars and help as many organizations as possible, the ads are black and white. Organizations are encouraged to develop their own ads, but may also request assistance in developing an ad. Ads should be submitted as PDFs.
