The libraries will be closed on July 3 and 4.
There’s always something happening at the library. With programs ranging from Storytimes and teen activities to author talks, hands-on workshops and special events, the library provides welcoming opportunities for the community to learn, connect and be inspired.

Friends Annual Used Book Sale
The Friends of the Granby Public Libraries invite the community to its Annual Used Book Sale, held July 24–26 at Holcomb Farm, 113 Simsbury Road in West Granby. Browse thousands of gently used books, puzzles, games, DVDs and more for all ages while supporting the Granby Public Library. Every purchase helps fund library programs, services and special community events. Friday, July 24, 5–8 p.m., $10 door fee. Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m., $10 per bag.
New Library Catalog and App
The library launched a new catalog and mobile app offering patrons a more modern and user-friendly way to search for materials, manage accounts and discover new items. The upgraded system includes improved search features, personalized recommendations and easy access to holds, renewals and account information, all designed to enhance the overall library experience.
