The largest litter of bear cubs ever recorded in Connecticut was spotted in Granby this April. After a long, cold winter, a mother black bear emerged from the woods with a litter of five cubs. Representatives from DEEP confirmed the litter was the largest ever recorded in state history. The sighting was first reported by NBC4 Connecticut.
