Citizens for a Better Granby, publisher of The Granby Drummer, is pleased to announce a $1,500 scholarship to a graduating Granby senior who will be attending an accredited post-secondary school to pursue a career in communications or journalism. Students with exceptional community service are invited to apply.
Seniors at GMHS may use the common application available online at the school. Granby seniors attending other schools may contact the Drummer directly for an application, at editor@granbydrummer.org
All applicants should include a short essay about themselves, career goals, and any civic involvement and contributions to the community (include the year, plus number of hours involved).
The deadline for scholarship applications is April 23.
