A group of motivated high school students presented to the Granby Board of Education at their February 4 meeting, delivering an impressive presentation of Granby Memorial High School’s athletic logo. Their professionalism, creativity and pride in their school community were on full display as they shared the new design and the thoughtful process behind it.

GMHS Logo

The students explained that the new logo represents more than just athletics. It reflects the spirit and unity that define GMHS and the surrounding community. The group demonstrated how the updated logo aims to inspire school pride while honoring the traditions and future of GMHS.

Leading the presentation was GMHS junior Cameron Pletcher who confidently guided board members through the vision and purpose of the new design. The presentation highlighted the positive impact student involvement can have when shaping school identity and culture. By taking an active role in this project, the students help ensure the logo reflects the voices and perspectives of their peers, athletes and the broader community.

As the new logo moves forward, it will stand as a symbol of collaboration and school pride. It promotes unity within the school. Go Bears!
