The Granby Artists Association (GAA) will host their annual Holiday Gift Show at Granby Congregational Church’s North Campus, 219 North Granby Road Dec. 6 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Shop for original works of art created by your favorite local artists. New and long-time members of the GAA will be participating in this year’s Holiday Gift Show. Artists and what they offer include:
Debby Reelitz now has a laser engraver, and she will be offering calligraphy on all sorts of unique surfaces. Hand engraved items will also be available along with ornaments and calligraphic art.
Kathy Ungerleider offers a wide selection of seashell/glass resin artwork and mirrors and unique handcrafted gifts for the holidays, including jewelry boxes, decorated vintage crystal, decoupage oyster shell trinket dishes and ornaments.
Carolyn Dittes will offer her functional stoneware pottery: spoon and sponge holders, bowls, vases, platters, etc. with new and favorite glaze combinations.
Tracy Marlor will have original ceramic creations both useful and decorative for that perfect holiday gift including ornaments, platters, mugs, bowls and more!
Beth McIntyre will have matted and framed photographs and wall art of various sizes and price points and displayed.
Bob Grandahl creates memorable paintings of landscapes, buildings, animals, etc.
Michael Bentley will have cards and matted photographic prints of various sizes, as well as a special assortment of unique monoprints.
Matthew Mikalonis will have various handmade paper works and carved block prints.
Sue Canavan will have a variety of handmade crepe paper flowers and mushrooms, as well as holiday décor.
Laura Eden will have a large assortment of gift-sized prints, small originals, notecards and past years’ ornaments. She will also have a new different ornament as “order only” this year available by Christmas.
Karen Dalecki will present her framed watercolor landscape and floral paintings.
Sally Markey will have sock animals, painted wood items, new decoupage ornaments with all manner of interesting themes, original watercolors, prints and cards.
There will also be a sale of eco-friendly home goods with profits going to support the annual GAA Scholarship fund.
Save the date for the GAA’s annual Season of Joy Art Show at Lost Acres Vineyard from Dec. 13 to Jan. 6. A variety of pieces will be available for purchase. Lost Acres Vineyard is located at 80 Lost Acres Road in North Granby and is open Fridays and Saturdays 12–6 p.m. and on Sundays 12–5 p.m.
