It is with great excitement that Kelly Lane School welcomes its new principal, Kim Loveland, who joined the school this fall. Stepping into her 11th year as an elementary principal, she brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to fostering a supportive and thriving school community.

Prior to this new chapter, Loveland served as principal in Plymouth for seven years and in Manchester for three years. Before taking on principalship, she was a K–12 math supervisor in Suffield. These diverse experiences have allowed her to work closely with talented educators across different districts, shaping her collaborative leadership style and passion for student success.

To celebrate Loveland’s arrival, the school recently hosted a Meet the Principal Night, where families had the chance to connect with both the new principal and Principal Colleen Bava. The evening was filled with warm introductions, conversations about the upcoming year and a sweet treat—ice cream for children and families to enjoy.

With Kim Loveland’s energy, vision and dedication, Kelly Lane looks forward to a successful year ahead under her leadership.
