What a fun summer we had but now it’s time to get prepared for fall, especially the many autumnal sports, events and celebrations.
The Holcomb Farm Fresh Access Drive-through program for Seniors continues each week with great success; close to 100 members pick up fresh farm produce at the Senior Center to cook at home. If your family is having food needs this fall, please reach out to Granby Social Services to learn more about the many food and assistance resources available.
The second Granby Senior Center’s Got Talent event will be held on Sept. 29. Can you sing? Dance? Maybe do both at the same time? Play an instrument, juggle, create incredible art, have a hilarious skit in mind to perform with friends? The possibilities are endless—whatever your talent, this is your moment to shine! Not a performer? Be part of the audience, cheer on your peers and enjoy the show. Register online to perform or by calling Jennifer at the Senior Center.
America’s 250th birthday will be celebrated on July 4, 2026, and Granby has created a committee to plan a celebration. This committee will plan a celebration for the whole town to enjoy.
