Class of 1975 to hold 50th reunion

The 1975 graduating class of Granby Memorial High School is pleased to announce its 50th reunion, starting with an informal gathering Friday, Oct. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cambridge House in Granby. Saturday, Oct. 11, there will be a guided tour of Granby Memorial High School, followed by a hike at Dismal Brook and lunch. The grand finale will be a banquet Saturday night at Metro Bis Restaurant in Simsbury. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails; 6:30 p.m. dinner and dancing.

This year’s reunion will feature musical entertainment provided by talented classmates from the class of 1975, and a complimentary 50th reunion memory book.

“We are very enthusiastic about bringing together our classmates from 1975 and celebrating this significant milestone,” stated Gail Alix Heywood, reunion committee chair. “It is an exceptional opportunity to reflect on our shared experiences at Granby Memorial High School and to see how everyone’s journeys have developed.”
