Need for support remains but contribution options exist
Heartfelt thanks to all who so generously donated to the Drummer during the past several months. Your donations, together with ongoing advertiser support and a Granby Community Fund grant, have helped cut our operating deficit almost in half.
Our goal is to close this deficit by the end of the year, and we’re not quite there yet. We value every donation, whether $25 or $500. Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to balancing our books.
Consider this fun alternative: we are hosting a speed puzzle contest at the Granby Senior Center on Feb. 3. Teams of four will compete to see which group can complete a 500-piece puzzle in the fastest time. Each team will use an identical puzzle, and teams can keep their puzzle as a souvenir. Sponsorship opportunities exist, and you can make a donation online through our secure website.
