The Granby Living Facebook group is 10 years old this December. It was started with the goal of providing information to help and support our community. In recent years we have held an annual fundraiser to support two very worthwhile local charities, Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen and the Granby Food Bank. With generous contributions from our community, we have raised over $9,000. This year we are using the “Gofundme” platform, they charge a minimal fee (59 cents for a $10 donation) and all donations are tax-deductible and will qualify for corporate matching gifts program. Our goal is to raise $10,000, $5,000 for each charity.
