Joe Markley, a member of the Connecticut State Senate representing the 16th State Senate District from 2011 to 2019, was interviewed by Susan Regan, following the November 8 statewide elections.

Markley is a native of Southington, Conn. and was the Republican Nominee for Lieutenant Governor in 2018 with Bob Stefanowski, Republican gubernatorial candidate. They lost the general election to Democrat Ned Lamont and his running mate Susan Bysiewicz.

Markley is well known for his plain spoken and informative commentary about the State’s political scene.
