CTVV interview covers education issues in Guilford

CT Valley Views, with host Susan Patricelli Regan, interviewed Bill Maisano and David Holman, residents of Guilford, who provided a candid overview of the issues facing parents and their children relative to the Board of Education stance on the town’s educational curriculum. Critical Race Theory, sexually oriented courses and a broad liberal culture are at the center of their concerns. Maisano and Holman both are adamant that parents should have a major say in what is taught in school. They view the BOE’s position as invasive, taking away parental and constitutional rights and actually harming the students’ ability to become independent and critical thinkers. Submitted photo
