Susan Patricelli Regan, host of CT Valley Views TV show, interviewed Kim Stroud, Academy Director and Natasha Miles, Visual Arts Department Head, of CREC’s Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts at the Hartford Campus.
Since 1966 CREC has been working with and for its member districts and has developed a wide array of cost-effective and high-quality programs and services to meet the educational needs of children and adults in Connecticut.
The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts half day curriculum is an intense focus on the students’ chosen study with professional arts instructors in respective creative fields. Full-day students also attend state accredited academic courses throughout the day without cost to the family. Entrance is determined by lottery draw from parental/student submission.
