I endorse Sally King as a candidate for the Granby Board of Selectmen. Sally is a positive, supportive, and competent person who has dedicated many years of service to Granby.
Sally is an experienced and knowledgeable board member. Serving on the Board of Finance, I have observed Sally not only at BOS budget preparation meetings, but also at the combined meetings of all three Boards: Selectmen, Education and Finance. Her past service on the BOS allows for meaningful contributions and insightful input on issues of concern to Granby.
Sally is very involved in visiting with her therapy dogs. She takes them to extended care facilities, Granby elementary, middle, and high schools and Bradley Field airport to interact with adults and children. Therapy dogs have positive effects and generate warm welcomes to those whom they greet. It demonstrates the positive value of a dog’s interaction with people.
Sally will provide dedicated service to residents of Granby on the Board of Selectmen.
