L-R Susan Patricelli Regan and Joe DeLong, president and CEO of CCM

CCM is the state’s largest, nonpartisan organization of municipal leaders, representing towns and cities of all sizes from all corners of Connecticut, with 168 member municipalities.

Its common mission is to improve everyday life for every state resident. It shares best practices and objective research to help local leaders govern wisely. It advocates at the state level for issues affecting local taxpayers and pools buying power to negotiate more cost-effective services for communities.

Susan Patricelli spoke with CCM’s veteran president and CEO, Joe Delong, who discusses at length the status of the organization’s accomplishments and 2021/22 objectives. CCM is a valuable resource for Connecticut’s citizens and districts for its array of support departments managed by accomplished professionals. If you are unfamiliar with CCM, you may want to visit ccm-ct.org and refer your mayor, first selectman or town manager to CCM’s website. There are cost savings to be realized for the many challenges faced by your town with CCM’s assistance.
