CTVV Update: Hartford Foundation for Public Giving

The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving serves 29 Connecticut towns in which a broad diversity of low income and opportunity deficient citizens who require vital humanitarian needs and educational, fiscal, housing and safety support.

This foundation works closely with local food pantries and collaborates with other similar organizations whose objectives parallel HFPG’s mission statement to improve the quality of life for the recipients. HFPG has been in existence for over 100 years and has volunteers that act as ambassadors between HFPG to and within the various communities to identify informative feedback on the specific issues facing the residents.
