Thanks to the success of the COVID vaccination program, things are beginning to return to normal, and one of those normal things is having Granby’s Open Farm Day! This year it is being planned for the same day as the Granby Road Race—another event happy to be occurring live instead of independently and virtual—on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Plans are not finalized by any means, but farms that have agreed to participate so are Addison, Holcomb, Lost Acres Vineyard, Lyric Hill, Maple View, O’Brien Nursery and Sweet Pea. As usual, there will be activities and demonstrations at these venues, as well as just the sheer joy of being out on these properties that are such an important part of the Granby community.

The July/August issue of the Drummer will have more details. In the meantime, as they say: save the date!
