On a radiant fall afternoon, we took the historical stroll up and down Salmon Brook Street. To all you homeowners, we stomped on your lawns and we stared at your houses. It gave us great joy to read the descriptions while standing in front of each house, studying the architecture and imagining the earlier occupants living there. Thank you for sharing them with us. We got such an immersion in early Granby.
Also, kudos and thanks to the Salmon Brook Historical Society for sponsoring the stroll. The descriptions were informative and entertaining. All the times we’ve traversed that portion of Salmon Brook St. have been at 35 mph. We never realized how significant to Granby it is.
