Social Justice Task Force

The Social Justice Task Force was formed to bring a local and permanent effort to the bigger movement happening across our nation. In our grief for the continued inequities that exist, we are working to find local opportunities to make for a more just community—and we know that Granby voters care deeply about these issues.

In this election season, we understand the desire to know where all candidates stand on an array of issues, while also acknowledging the challenges of finding answers in the midst of a global pandemic and adhering to social distancing guidelines.

This September, the Social Justice Task Force will email all candidates for the Connecticut General Assembly a survey to learn more about their stances on meaningful issues. With the sole intent of voter education, the candidates’ verbatim responses will be shared with the public and found on the Democratic Town Committee website and on the Granby DTC Facebook page.
