Wednesday, March 23: Noon deadline for unaffiliated and new voters to register with a party to participate in the March 24 caucus. Registrars’ office is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 24–31: Both town committees will hold caucuses to nominate delegates to the May conventions. Only registered party members may attend. 

Tuesday, April 7: First day absentee ballots for presidential primary are available.

Monday, April 13: 7 p.m. public hearing for the town budget at the GMHS Auditorium.

Thursday, April 23: Online and postmark deadline for new and unaffiliated voters to register with a major party to be eligible to vote in the presidential primary

Monday, April 27: Noon in-person deadline for new and unaffiliated voters to register to enroll in a major party to be eligible to vote in the presidential preference primary. The registrar’s office will hold special office hours 9 a.m. to Noon.

Monday, April 27: Granby Annual Town Budget Referendum in the Town Hall Meeting Room. Polls are open from 12–8 p.m.

Tuesday, April 28: Presidential preference primary in the GMHS community gym. Polls are open 6 a.m.–8 p.m. Only open to registered major party members

Monday, May 11: Potential date for a budget referendum at Granby Town Hall, if needed.

Stop by to register to vote, to determine your voting district or to make corrections in person at the registrars’ office in the Town Hall every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Voter registration forms are also available at town halls, libraries, DMV offices and online at the Secretary of State’s website, portal.ct.gov/en/SOTS/
