Looking like the heads of lollipop sticks, or puffs of dandelion fluff, the tops of the tall trees reach
their branches to the sky in praise of their Creator. They wait, like us, for the sun to warm them
after the winter’s cold. Before long, their buds will open, and the world again will be filled with color.
Later, their leaves will appear again and offer their shade and shelter to the birds.
And, I think, we like the trees must wait with patience
for Beauty and Hope to return with their early spring dreams…
