The Oliver Ellsworth Memorial Association is hosting its annual Christmas tour on Friday, Dec. 6 and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Join us for a fun and festive look at a Victorian Country Christmas. Elmwood, the stately home of Oliver and Abigail Ellsworth, 788 Palisado Avenue, Windsor, will be decorated in a Victorian motif, and visitors will learn about the customs and traditions of the era when the final generation of Ellsworths enjoyed living in their ancestral home. Tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the half hour; last tour begins at 3:15 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments. Christmas caroling is Saturday at 4 p.m. Donation is $12 adults/$10 seniors and students.
