Dr. Addley
Granby’s Superintendent of Schools Dr. Alan Addley has been appointed the new superintendent for the Darien Public Schools, and will begin there over the summer.
Addley has served as superintendent since 2008. Under his leadership, Granby has been recognized for its high achieving public schools. Last fall, he was named 2019 Superintendent of the Year by the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents.
In a letter to parents, Addley said, “I am tremendously grateful for all the wonderful opportunities afforded me by this great wee town and its wonderful school system. As a Granby resident and Superintendent of Schools, thank you for your professional and personal friendships over the past two decades and for opening your hearts to me and my family.”
