We have been blessed by the efforts of Bill Simanski working on behalf of the 62nd District of the State of Connecticut for a number of years. Prior to that he led Granby as First Selectman of Granby for eight years. Throughout his career serving the people of Connecticut, Bill has approached issues as we have approached household decisions, asking What is the need; Is there value added; Can we afford it without hurting our credit rating; Can we re-prioritize our efforts?
Decisions made reflect values held. Bill worked for The Hartford before retiring after 43 years of service. For all of us who followed similar careers we know you need to do the job you are hired to do or your career will be cut short. So we learned what is expected, perform as expected, and all the while learned from our experiences and those around us. Connecticut needs leaders with analysis and decision-making skills that years of experience in both the public and private sector can bring to the table. Connecticut needs Bill Simanski. We urge you to vote Republican on Nov. 6.
