I will vote for Annie Hornish on Nov. 6, because she is the hardest-working candidate I’ve ever met. Granby will be lucky to have someone that will work for us in the State Senate. Annie knows the challenges our seniors face—she is a caregiver to her elderly mother and aunt—and she supports property tax credits so our parents and grandparents can stay in their homes.
Annie also recognizes how important a strong school system is to the health of our economy. But the cost of maintaining our schools has to be reformed, too much burden is placed on the local property tax base. We have to fix school funding as a top priority.
