In this trying time for the state of Connecticut, I urge everyone to consider voting for Oz Griebel for Governor on Nov. 6. Oz is a serious, policy-oriented leader who considers issues based on the needs of the citizens, and without a political agenda.
I worked with Oz for several years when he was the chairman of the Connecticut Transportation Strategy Board and found him to have an open and thoughtful mind, listening to all perspectives, and seeking creative ideas to solve problems. He was a quick study and a solid thinker on the issues we faced, and always sought common ground to gather consensus wherever possible. Oz treats everyone with respect.
I think that these traits, combined with his freedom from the political baggage that stifles so many of our discussions at the state level today, suggest that Oz would be a great leader for our state.
