Granby Performing Arts at GMHS is back with this year’s fall play: Almost, Maine by John Cariani, directed by Nikki Currie-Huggard. Playful and surreal experiences are commonplace in Almost, Maine—not organized enough for a town, too populated for a wilderness — where on one deeply cold and magical midwinter night, the citizens experience the life-altering power of the human heart. It is an endearing romantic comedy that is sure to melt your frozen winter heart.

The play features seniors Kate Hosack (club vice president) as Glory, Sophie Speliopoulos (club secretary) as Sandrine, Ana Bourque (club president) as Gayle, Ben Davis (student director) as Lendall, Hunter Chicoine as Chad, Luke Jennings as Phil, Melena Kopf as Rhonda and Max Morris as Dave.

Almost, Maine will be performed at Granby Memorial High School in the auditorium on Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 for general audience and $10 for seniors and students. Tickets will be available at the door. We hope to see you there and thank you for your support of the performing arts.

Look out this spring when Granby Performing Arts at GMHS will present Grease. Mark your calendars now for performances Friday, March 15, Saturday, March 16, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 17, at 3 p.m.
