Food is a powerful thing. Not only does it nourish our bodies, but preparing and sharing food with others cultivates community. If you or your organization is involved in food preparation, food service, or a food based fund-raiser, then this event is for you.
Diane Hirsch, Food Safety Educator with UConn Extension, will speak at First Congregational Church on Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on safe food handling and food safety regulations, in the context of not-for-profits and voluntary organizations.
